Product specification

Central Heating System General Purpose Flush is a non-acidic, alkaline sludge and general deposit remover suitable for both old and new systems. This system cleaner is the ideal product for use prior to treatment with an inhibited corrosion inhibitor to improve system life and efficiency.

Central Heating System General Purpose Flush is an alkaline sludge deposit remover which is designed to restore water circulation to new and old clogged up central heating systems. Central Heating System General purpose flush will remove build-ups of Hydrogen Sulphide which can give off foul odours when bleeding radiators and cause corrosion and sludge within your heating system over time if the system isn’t cleansed properly.

Central Heating System General Purpose Flush is a technical formulation designed to target a wide range of debris and sludge in order to drastically reduce the risk of breakdown and actively improve system life and efficiency. The product is powerful enough to improve the flow of cold and distressed systems where hot water isn’t available.

Directions for use:

Application: To clean a central heating system in accordance with BS7593:2019, Central Heating System General Purpose Flush should be circulated with all valves open for a minimum period of one hour. Warming the system will aid the process. No neutralisation procedure is required. After cleaning, the system should be drained and thoroughly flushed though all drain points. Refill and treat with a Central Heating System Corrosion Inhibitor.

DO NOT ADD TO PRIMATIC SYSTEMS.

DOSING INSTRUCTIONS:

Dose Rate: 500ml of Central Heating System General Purpose Flush is sufficient to treat a typical domestic central heating system of up to ten radiators. For larger systems, an additional bottle will be required. Overdosing does not present a problem.

Open Vented Systems: Dose through the fill and expansion system – sufficient water must be drained from the system to ensure that all the product enters the circulating part of the system. Sealed Systems: If the system is empty add to any convenient point before filling, if full, dose through any convenient access point.

DO NOT ADD TO PRIMATIC SYSTEMS
