Lightning: High strength water based cleaner for industrial cleaning
Lightning is a non-flammable water based hard surface cleaner and degreaser developed for use in a wide-reaching variety of environments. Its complex formulation and deep penetrating cleaning action will vigorously clean, degrease and restore concrete floors, tiled walls, coolant reservoirs, vinyl upholstery and other plastic surfaces.
Lightning’s versatility as a general-purpose cleaner and degreaser is unmatched: its use can cut down the need for multiple products in almost any professional situation. The formulation is ideal for general cleaning and degreasing in the communal areas of professional premises such as kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, offices, warehouses, factories etc. in addition to being used for the preparation of hard surfaces prior to painting, finishing, or other treatments.
Lightning is extremely effective over a wide spectrum of industrial and professional applications such as bakeries, bottling plants, breweries, boats, printing plants, public buildings, parks departments, dockyards, food plants, machine shops, etc. as well as being the ideal candidate for press room cleaning as a multi-purpose ink remover and for its application in ink-fly cleaning on ‘grey areas’ around the print room.
Lightning will remove grease, grime and mildew along with many dyes and inks with ease and can be diluted to a wide range of concentrations to suit the specific application, level of soiling or cleaning routine required for economy in use.
The formulation contains an effective rust inhibitor and will not cause flash rusting and can readily be applied through a range of methods including by brush, mop or spray.
Spray application – Dilute with up to 10 parts water for general cleaning. For light soils dilutions of up to 20 parts water may be used. Higher dilutions up to 100 parts water may be used to suit application. Apply on equipment or surface to be cleaned and leave momentarily. Wipe off with a clean cloth to restore brightness with no film residue.
Mop application – To remove soils and grease deposits from concrete floors, walls, installations, etc., add in the above dilutions and mop. Light agitation may be necessary for heavy deposits of soils. Hose off dissolved residues with clean water, or mop up excess with a clean, damp mop or squeegee.
Before cleaning painted surfaces, it is recommended that a small insignificant area be cleaned to test for any possible paint breakdown.
