Meet The Team: Wesley Parr

Job Role & Responsibilities:

My job is to take care of the staff and machinery in the bulk department of Liquid Science. Organising jobs and raw materials, and keeping my team on top of everything whilst ensuring jobs are completed on time and of high quality. I’m also part of the maintenance team, keeping the machinery running and addressing breakdowns. 

Before Liquid Science I was…

I was doing exactly the same thing! I’ve worked with chemicals and aerosols for 20 years now. I came to Liquid Science because I could see it was a growing company with opportunities, and I wanted to be a part of it. 

What do you enjoy most about being part of the Liquid Science team?

The great thing is we are all good friends in and out of work. When we can we’ll get together, whether it be a curry night in the local Indian, or a few pints and a game of darts. 

Describe your job in three words…

Challenging, dynamic, busy.

Best advice you’ve ever been given?

Theres an ancient roman saying “MOMENTO MORI” meaning everyone must die, so live life to the full and enjoy it as much as possible. 

Tell us something we don’t know about you…

I really enjoy writing, especially with my daughter where we’ll write funny little stories together. I’d love to self publish a kids book one day. 

What did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was a kid I wanted to an RAF pilot, I almost joined the army instead when I was old enough. 

I’m currently watching…

Scrubs…again, an old medical comedy. A reboot is currently being made with the original cast, so can’t wait for that. 

What have you enjoyed most about 2025 so far?

I should probably say my eldest daughter’s Holy Communion or my youngest daughter starting school and loving it…

But hands down it was watching Oasis live at Heaton Park, absolutely unreal. Second place would be watching Post Malone in London. My favourite band and solo artist in one year; mind blown!
