To manage existing and to seek new, high volume, profitable lines of business that the company produce, to our customers’ high expectations at a point where we can add value through excellence of service, product performance and reliability. Ensuring great customer relations and providing what our customers expect through point of contact relationship, to forge long term commitment for both partners to create a “go to” compatibility.
I’ve been involved selling cleaning chemicals for over 25 years now so my previous roles have evolved from “knocking on doors (selling the old fashioned way) trying to sell there and then” to the more consultative approach we take today on pallet business. As we know the world has changed immensely since then, and more recently I have been selling into wholesalers and distributors, which can be rewarding when you have the “buy in” from individual reps/companies who see the value you are trying to achieve with them.
Spending time with my family, following the “famous” Leeds Utd, snooker, quizzes and the occasional treasure trail which is great for relaxation.
I was excited by the role of Contract Sales Manager and realised the company’s scope for future growth was an opportunity I wanted to be part of.
The autonomy to be able to get on with it, I enjoy being busy and juggling many projects along the way.
Cutting the grass, it grows too quickly!
